Current Openings

  • CNC Machinists (Entry Level Through Expert Level) — We are currently looking for self-motivated machinists who take pride in the work they produce and have experience running CNC boring bars, CNC vertical boring mills, and CNC lathes. Positions are available for 2nd shift (Monday – Thursday 2:00 pm - 12:00 am).  Starting pay for experienced machinists $25-$30+/Hr.   • Expert Candidates are those with advanced skills:
  • Technical abilities to run 3 and 5 Axis Machines
  • Programming from solid models using Fusion 360 (CAM Software)
  • Routinely hold +\-  .0005

    Lange Machine is seeking quality, driven, self-motivated CNC Machinists for positions within our family-owned business. Qualified candidates should be able to set up, program, and operate CNC lathes and mills to produce precision parts for various industries in a timely manner. 

     

    Machinists must be able to read blueprints and work orders for product specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances. Machinists must also be able to read tooling instructions, such as fixtures and feed rates, and determine the sequence of operations. This includes modifying or repairing parts or assemblies, applying knowledge of mechanics, and understanding shop mathematics, metal properties, and layout. 


    Responsibilities include the following:


    • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines. Machine parts to specifications on detail prints provided, or as instructed.
    • Set up tooling, workpieces, and CNC machine offsets as needed.
    • Maintain measuring and set up tools that are common to the machinist’s trade.
    • Record part set-up and run-time through Proshop for tracking of time on specific jobs.
    • Monitor due dates on the process sheets and complete all work as scheduled.
    • Deliver parts to other workstations in the plant as necessary.
    • Provide verbal and written feedback to appropriate members of the manufacturing group.
    • Perform work and cross-train on various positions or equipment as required.
    • Maintain a professional appearance at all times, representing LMT in a professional and courteous manner.
    • A quality check is required on all parts that you manufacture. This may be an internal or external process.
    • Work occasional overtime when requested.
    • Maintain safety and cleanliness of work area by performing housekeeping duties daily, including, but not limited to trash, coolant, work area, etc.

    Job Requirements


    • High school diploma 
    • Technical degree preferred
    • Setting up, programming, and machining experience preferred — Fanuc and Heidenhain
    • Must have good manual and verbal dexterity
    • Must be able to work independently
